As most of you know, I officially retired and closed my dental practice on November 17, 2022.  

If you need to transfer your records to a new dentist, a written authorization is required. A downloadable copy of the authorization form is attached below. On finding a new dentist 

Here are some general recommendations to keep in mind when looking for a new dentist: 

• One of the very best ways to find a new dentist is to ask friends, family, neighbors, and coworkers what their recommendations are.  

• If you are covered by dental insurance, check with your insurance company to see which dentists are covered under your plan, and to find out about the level of coverage for dentists who are outside of your network. 

• The Redwood Empire Dental Society (REDS) maintains a list of local California Dental Association members which can be found at www.redsdentists.org/membersby-area.html. REDS can also be contacted by phone at (707) 546-7275. 

• Research online to find more information about dentists you are considering, including their educational background, professional memberships, reviews from other patients, etc.  

Most of our patients originally found us by word of mouth, and so we trust that you will be able to find a dentist uniquely suited to your needs using the recommendation of others and the other suggestions listed above.
